1.
Dominion 05:14
The last thing to admit is fault To err is human, to forgive divine Hate rules the day But love holds full dominion Fight or flight, the loaded dice Scorched earth, undeserved
2.
The places I've been and the things I've done The life I've lived and the songs I've sung Sleeping out under the setting sun Only ever out for number one Learned my lessons, paid my dues Took my knocks and sang the blues So far gone, it's nothing new Grown too old to play the fool Last chance to die young, or fade away Last chance to die young, or live today I've got my guitar, got my name They'll take me far away Years pass by with nothing to say Living my life, loving day by day Words of wisdom never come my way Reality is just another game to play Where I go ain't up to me Who I am, what I want to be Got all I want, but nothing I need Gallons of whiskey and bags of speed
3.
For every myth that you've been sold There's only seven tales told Laugh, cry, live, die It's all the same So as you choose your only road Remember: seven tales told Laugh, cry, live, die It's all insane Rags to riches, fall from grace You can walk that road But you will come home changed Slay your demon, be born again You can laugh, you can cry But in the end it's all the same
4.
Bones 06:34
She told me she'd take me away She told me she could heal my pain Now there's nothing more to say And there's no more time for yesterday She tells me she loves me That's all I need to know Wherever she wants me That's where I'm gonna go So I come in from the rain Warm my bones, feel whole again
5.
It seems a lifetime away Since the demons came to stay With pen and paper in my hand I keep them all at bay What is there to see When the towers crumble down And what is left of me When my feet hit the ground Render my nerves to steel An exercise of will I keep my muse in my heart She shows me how to heal I've found a place that I call home The fire burns so bright here With this heart of stone I've known I find no place for fear
6.
Surrounded by a world of the mundane and the grey The shaman walks his path and shows us all the way With a wide-brimmed hat and a jester by his side Cutting through reality with a sweep of his scythe The wanderer, the summoner The eagle's flight through the unreal The wanderer, the summoner Within this world he reaps the dream Disorder of consciousness for a time that's yet to come Unseen worlds rise from the beat of his drum To understand, yet never truly to know Full of wonder, love and peace: an invocation of the soul
7.
Take all you live for, leave it in the way Cut out your own tongue, this failure here to stay This time, you have no power in this place So fade, face down in a poor man's grave A kind of madness, can't escape the truth The battle long lost and you hold the proof In time, no-one remembers your name It's all the same, face down in a poor man's grave You're suffering, frustration you can't take out on me You're wallowing, six feet under in a poor man's grave Take all you die for, swimming in the wake Burn down the oceans, these failures you have made

Overcome 03:59
This could be anywhere I've seen this place a thousand times With senses dulled and vision blurred By a sea of empty smiles Should I stay lost in my head Waste away through endless years Or let the world come flooding in Retrace my steps, confront my fears Dig my own grave Won't be the same Find my life Between the lines The choice of heart or mind Succumb to one while the other rules Torn between two worlds combined With equal parts to gain or lose With shaking hands I'll carve my way Lift my feet from fearful sleep No ghosts shall paralyse This mantra I repeat
10.
Quadralith 08:25
The winds of change Strip me to the bone Where this will take us God only knows Across the silence Distant thunder rolls This desert path Leads us on A distant fire, smoke on the breeze On the horizon we begin to see Four walls, four pillars standing tall The quadralith lives within us all Waves of sound Come crashing down On this wasteland Our feet have found The empty spaces Now filled with light So now we savour Our endless plight
