This smoked out room where I go to die The stench of sweat and stale air Stifles my breath obscures my sight There is a magic here you won't find in the light Inhale and breathe out, leave my body behind My mind tears I see titan moon I see the spirals edge and galaxy below I float through darkness to the edge of madness The answers there to be found at the edge of life This wondrous world you must be blind to see Awaits my shattered mind Abstract shapes and colours that I feel Take me away from the heartless world My mind tears I see titan moon I see the spirals edge and galaxy below I float through darkness to the edge of madness The answers there to be found at the edge of life There is life beyond this veil Pass through the void to the other side A world awaits on Titan Moon To start life anew With open eyes I arrive.
2.
First steps I take as the dust clears around me A cool breeze on my face A sea of eyes heralds my arrival I am not alone in this place One man steps forward to greet me Arms outstretched, smile on his face I am welcome in this world he says Traveller from across the veil A sprawling civilisation laid before me City spires pierce the sky Emerald towers glint in the sunlight In between strange contraptions fly A world united for a common cause Utopia in this place A people in harmony with Titan Moon Life eternal and souls at peace I am home… I spend my years here, welcomed and revered Learning of their ways Technological genius and peace of mind Like nothing I have ever believed. A sprawling civilisation laid before me City spires pierce the sky Emerald towers glint in the sunlight In between strange contraptions fly Revealed to me a strange evil resides Riches of the soul come at a price Approached by those who cannot live With these unbearable crimes So I learn… Entry into the multiverse brought about their rise Discovery of the ethereal race Taken from their realm and enslaved their power To work forever in darkness This cannot last, freedom must be found Revenge will not be kind or swift We will rise and reclaim this place With growing numbers we will bring this world down.
3.
One thousand men stand tall Banners caught in frigid air For honour they fight For redemption they call We must free the enslaved The ethereals they hold Once gods now in darkness We will bring them light I am the saviour, the leader of righteous souls We will sweep across Titan Moon Wash away the evil it holds One thousand martyrs fall Final breath released in frigid air For honour they fought Now they have lost it all The might of a nation In willing ignorance Perpetuates atrocity The hammer falls, leaving only silence I am the messiah, my disciples crushed and bound By the light of Titan Moon I leave this hallowed ground Across the Veil I return Powers I cannot comprehend force me on. The smoke clears and I find myself My body wasted and numb Have I found the answers I sought? I open my eyes, inhale and breathe out.
